Sex After Sixty: Older and Wiser feat. Jessi Rowe, LCSW-C
January 21, 2025 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this very frank, open, and empowering lecture.
Isn’t it time to talk openly about intimacy and sexuality as we get older? Physical, cognitive, and emotional changes may affect the way we are able to be sexual. However, those changes need not force us to give up sexual and intimate experience and expression. Jessi Rowe, LCSW-C, will discuss some of the issues facing those of us who are single, in new relationships, and in longstanding relationships. She will also address the particular challenges when dementia is present.
Let’s break down barriers and foster a community where intimacy is celebrated at any age.
Jessi Rowe, LCSW-C, has over 40 years of experience working with older adults and their families in private care management, psychotherapy, social services, hospice, and concierge health advising. Jessi was an instructor with the Johns Hopkins University Certificate on Aging program and at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, teaching graduate students specializing in the field of aging. Jessi is a 2015 recipient of the Maryland Gerontological Association Individual Achievement Award.
